Marc Pachter, the Director Emeritus of the Smithsonian Institution.

This interview was conducted during the book launch at the BangkokEdge ideas festival in Bangkok, Thailand. The interviewer was the book’s consultant editor Marc Pachter, Director Emeritus of the Smithsonian Institution. He was director of the Museum of American History and twice the director of the National Portrait Gallery of America. Pachter gave a TED Talk about his interview technique, which he developed for the Living Portraits Series that he created for the Smithsonian Institution.
