I am frequently invited to be a speaker at universities, literary festivals, cultural institutes and symposiums and Petcha Kutcha. These tend to be about Very Bangkok, Very Thai, or specific topics relating to Thailand.

I am often asked to be on panels on topics from arts to urbanism. Panel oganisers include the BangkokEdge Festival, Bangkok Art Biennale and Foreign Correspondents Club of Thailand.

MANGO ART FESTIVAL TALK
Philip Cornwel-Smith will be giving a talk at the 1st Mango Art Festival at Lhong 1919. It's an art and design event that runs over the long weekend of April 3-6. My talk on the 6th at 5pm is about Rival Portrayals of Bangkok from Myths to Noir to Realism.
